Hello! I’m a children’s book illustrator from India. Nice to meet you!
My earliest memory of art is when I realized I could draw a better cat than my elder brother at age 4. Since then it’s been my way of expressing myself and connecting with people.
I graduated and worked as a software engineer for five years after which I started my freelance career creating custom illustrations, comics, and merchandise. As my love for narrative visual storytelling developed, so did my love for children’s books.
I am attracted to everything cute, colorful, and happy, and challenge myself to create art that tickles some emotion each time. I also enjoy transforming my day-to-day experiences into relatable, quirky, and wholesome visual comics peppered with lovable characters and animals.
When not drawing, I can be found petting dogs and seeing cute animal videos online. I also enjoy yoga, playing board games, and being around nature.
I am an active SBCWI member and have been part of the SVSLearn community since I indulged myself in the world of children’s books in 2019 which has contributed significantly to my growth and career as a children’s book illustrator. I am also a Children’s Book Academy graduate and have attended various other writing courses from Storyteller Academy and Highlights Foundation. Being a part of an illustration and writing critique group has been invaluable for my growth and I always hope to meet them someday in person across the world.
